History of

I printed my first Spring Break shirt my senior year of high school. I sold them to friends to pay for Beach Week, then figured out I could do the same thing at music festivals. Before long, I was hawking tees out of beachfront motels and festival parking lots, Bonnaroo included. That was my first lesson: graphic tees aren’t just clothing. They’re a form of self-expression that can open doors to places, people, and opportunities not always extended to someone from very humble beginnings.

After a short detour chasing life as a professional actor, I landed back where it all started, working in my family’s screen-printing business. At night, I poured that energy into a high-end graphic apparel brand I called N/O/D. It lived in the same cultural lane as Ed Hardy and sold for $80 a piece, but it was more personal, more expressive. I knew the rules of printing, and N/O/D existed to blur them, to live in the space between mistake and authenticity, commentary and art. It taught me design discipline, production realities, and how style and identity collide.

I eventually left to open my own clothing boutique in Boulder, gravitating toward the graphic language of California moto and surf brands. Since then, life has taken its turns. I still play drums and help manage the alt-Americana, psych mountain rock band Sun Jr. I’ve managed lifestyle retail brand stores, served as Director of Exhibits, Events, and Community Engagement for a nonprofit arts district, and coached youth sports teams across multiple seasons.

The throughline has always been the same: community. Bringing people together through fashion, art, music, and athletics.

I started N/O/D to bring all of that under one roof, to turn my marketable gifts into an honest day’s work. The blueprint is simple:
